George Bush was the 43rd president of the United States. He signed the USA Patriot Act, enhancing homeland security after the 9/11 attacks. He signed the No Child Left Behind Act which supported standard based education reform. He implemented the $1.3 trillion Bush tax cuts, which lowered tax rates for nearly all US tax payers. He ordered an invasion on Afghanistan in 2001 to overthrow the Taliban, destroy Al-Qaeda and capture Osama bin Laden. He also led an invasion on Iraq in 2003. George Bush ended his 2nd term in January 20, 2009.
